The edition size is limited to 500 plus 50 artist proofs plus a Museum Edition limited to 100 examples. The edition was printed on Coventry paper. Each sheet measures 29-1/2 x 58. The image size is 24 x 54.

The image was originally created by Tom Everhart as a painting on canvas, which is included in the artists Museum show, Tom Everhart; Under the Influence, November 15-March 2004. Tom Everhart collaborated with the chromist Jean Pierre Remond who, referring to the maquette, drew by hand the 14 separate plates from which this edition was pulled. One plate was drawn for each of the 14 colors. Proofs were approved by Everhart, after which the edition was pulled, one color at a time on a Dufa flat bed press. The plates used to create this edition were destroyed after the edition was pulled.

The edition is numbered 1/500 to 500/500; 50 Artist Proofs numbered AP 1/50 to AP 50/50; Museum Edition numbered I/C C/C, plus 10 Artist Proofs numbered ME 1/10 to ME 10/10. One Artist Proof was given to the Museum by the artist for its permanent collection. Total tirage is 660 examples. The S2 chop mark appears in the lower left-hand corner of each example. The Charles M. Schulz Museum chop mark appears in the lower left hand corner of each example in the Museum Edition. The artist, Tom Everhart, personally signed all examples in pen in the lower right-hand corner. There are no other examples in the edition except as described above.

Tom Everhart met Peanuts creator Charles M. Schulz in 1980 at his studio - the beginning of an incredible exchange for the artist. Everhart began by studying Sparky's pen line style and relied on his pointers, critiques, thoughts and private techniques, developing his own unique interpretation of the classic Little People. Everhart later began drawing special projects for Schulz and United Media, and in 1990 created his first painting - "Schroeder's Piano" - on a 72 inch by 128 inch painting to convey the immense impression of Schulz's images on our culture. Since then, many of his incredible paintings have been recreated in fine art hand-pulled lithography faithfully capturing the beautiful colors and detail of the original paintings.
